Women in Design 8x8 Evemt

  • Workplace Resources 1445 16th Street Mall Denver, CO, 80202 United States (map)

Wow... it's almost October again! Sentio is ecstatic to be a sponsor again at this year's 8x8 Event. Our CEO, Sydney Ledden has been working all year to follow in the impressive footsteps of Michelle Cairo, WID's previous dedicated Event Coordinator. It has been a privilege to bring together innovative voices in the design-build industry for an inspiring evening of discussion and collaboration. A huge thank you to the Event Sponsors who have helped to make this evening possible and Workplace Resource for allowing us to use their beautifully designed new headquarters. Our speakers this year will be presenting on how they bring a thoughtful approach to their disciplines by prioritizing the project's community, clientele, and environmental impact.

Join us for Women in Design's 19th Annual 8x8 Lecture Series. Network with like-minded professionals, enjoy refreshments, and be inspired by these influential voices in design. These eight visionary women will deliver 8-minute talks- each bringing a wealth of knowledge and diverse perspectives:

Kaci Taylor, AIA from THE5WH: Architect designing inclusive, equitable, and sustainable communities.

Ashley Stiles from Tribe Development: Real estate developer fostering community impact.

Andrea Schumacher from Andrea Schumacher Interiors, Inc.: Interior designer expertly curating homes to reflect individual personalities and styles.

Elizabeth Rosa from ArtHouse Design : Experiential graphic designer creating meaningful visual storytelling in public spaces.

Kastle Waserman from Kastle Home Copywriting: Journalist and marketing expert on effective design communication.

Sierra Voss from Root By Design: Plant designer enhancing spaces with nature to improve well-being through biophillia.

Elena Sabinson from University of Colorado Boulder: Design researcher exploring the intersection of psychology, architecture, and emerging technologies.

Megan Baker, MBA from Green Building Initiative: Sustainability advocate promoting resilient buildings.

Special thanks to my amazing committee Sierra Voss, Sarah Gilloran & Pamela Tribbett and Geneva Kowalski WID's incredible Executive Chair.
