We Believe In Small Batches.

These photos depict our owner, Sydney, spending a day in the studio: prepping the clay and jumping on the wheel.

In a world dominated by mass production and global supply chains, small-batch production—quite literally creating product in small, methodical batches— emerges as a sustainable and intentional alternative. By supporting local artisans and prioritizing the human connection, this approach to production and consumption fosters a more meaningful and eco-conscious experience than that of our present mainstays of production.

Small-batch production serves as a catalyst for empowering local artisans, revitalizing traditional craftsmanship, and bolstering local economies. Unlike large-scale manufacturing, which prioritizes efficiency and cost reduction, small-batch production places emphasis on quality and skill, and rushing to completion is not of mind when producing in small batches. Similarly, small-bath production fosters more intimate means of consumption. Not only are local economies strengthened, but local communities too.

At Sentio, our process of creation and many of our collaborations all create in small batches so that we may attend to our product with care, and ensure those we work with are happy from order to delivery with their new creations.

We believe in building intimate relationships with our creators, our clients, and within our communities.

That is why we are so excited to announce the reopening of our shop, where we will carry our unique, handcrafted ceramics as well as products from our collaborators! We know our shop will always prioritize the quality of the pieces we provide for you, and we hope you can enjoy and experience the love put into these items.
